Tim Owen is President of O&A Insurance Services Inc., with over 20 years personal experience in the employee benefit field. In early 1982, Tim became a Vice President of Marketing for an HMO owned by the two largest hospitals in Jacksonville, Florida. His expertise in sales, underwriting and actuarial ratings of groups allowed him to build a block of business that tripled in growth in just 2 years. For the past 10 years, Tim has worked as a consultant to insurance companies in field underwriting large multi-state, multi-thousand employee groups throughout the United States.

The agency, founded in the 80’s, employs staff that is multifaceted in underwriting, designing, negotiating and pricing employee benefits, while having developed years of field experience on the front line of healthcare. O&A has expertise in claim adjudication, appeal processes and large claim management.

With over 600 clients, 5 states of operation and a concerned posture of the rising cost of healthcare, O&A is active in strategizing methods creating positive plans and solutions to combat our national healthcare crisis.
